Introduction

Journal of Optoelectronic and Biomedical Materials (JOBM) is an international peer-reviewed journal published by the Virtual Company of Physics (ISSN: 2066-0049). Launched in 2009, it publishes four issues per year and is indexed in Journal Citation Reports, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Web of Science Core Collection, and Google Scholar.

The journal serves as a forum for materials scientists, physicists, chemists, biomedical engineers, and related professionals worldwide, publishing papers on crystalline and non-crystalline materials, nanomaterials, nanoparticles, coatings, thin films, advanced biomaterials, organic and inorganic nanomaterials, organic thin films, hybrids and composites, with relevance to optoelectronics, photonics, or biomedical sciences.

JOBM welcomes papers from any area of materials science, such as physics, chemistry, nanomaterials, thin films, photonics, or biomedical engineering, as long as there is a clear link to optoelectronic or biomedical applications.
