Prof. Daohua Zhang

Shenzhen Pinghu Laboratory, China (Fellow of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore)

Prof. Daohua Zhang is a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineering and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)and Institute of Physics (IOP). He previously served as a professor and deputy head of the Department of Microelectronics at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and as chairman of the Singapore Semiconductor and Optoelectronics Society. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor materials and device research, he was recognized in 2025 as one of the top 2% of scientists worldwide for his contributions to applied physics and optics.


Prof. Guohua Xie

Xiamen University, China

Guohua Xie is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Humboldt Scholar in Germany. From 2011 to 2012, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Applied Photophysics at Dresden University of Technology in Germany. From 2013 to 2015, he was engaged in postdoctoral research in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of St Andrews in the UK. Between 2015 and 2023, he served as an Associate Researcher at the School of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences at Wuhan University. In 2023, he became a professor at Xiamen University. Professor Xie has published nearly 250 research papers in well-known international journals such as Nature Communications, Science Advances, The Innovation, Advanced Materials, Journal of the American Chemical Society, and Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and has been granted 10 domestic patents. His research group focuses on new luminescent materials and devices, including organic luminescent materials and devices, quantum dot luminescent materials and devices, and perovskite luminescent materials and devices.


Prof. MOHD SYUHAIMI BIN AB RAHMAN

TUniversiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia

Mohammad Syuhaimi Ab-Rahman began his career at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), in mid-2007 as a lecturer and appointed as a senior lecturer in early 2008. In January 2010, he was appointed as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Systems. His specialization is in the field of electronic engineering specifically in optical communication system. He is also professional engineer registered under Board of Egineering Malaysia. He has also been selected as on of the Malaysia’s Top Research Scientists 2021. To date, he has produced 297 journal articles, 196 proceeding, 30 books, 12 chapter in book. 24 awards/medals for science and technology exhibitions, 6 granted research patents, lead more than 10 impact research with cumulative MYR 11 million, head more than 5 impact community.
