Researcher Daming Dong

Recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation and the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation

Dr. Daming Dong is a researcher, doctoral supervisor, and recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation and the National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation. He is currently the deputy director of the Intelligent Equipment Technology Research Center of Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, and the director of the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Sensors of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. He has been engaged in infrared and laser spectral sensing technology research for a long time, and is proficient in optoelectronic sensing theory, opto-mechanical integration design, and development of highly sensitive sensors. He was the core technician of a model project of General Armament, and made important contributions to national security. after 2009, he carried out research on optical sensing methods for soil, water quality, gas and other agricultural environments. He has been selected as one of the National Ten Million Talents Project, National Outstanding Talents in Agricultural Research, Beijing Highly Creative Program, and Outstanding Young Agricultural Scientist. He was awarded the 20th Mao Yisheng Youth Science and Technology Award, the Young Scientist Award of the Optical Society of China, and the title of "Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions to the Country".

Prof. Lijia Pan, Nanjing University, China

Pan is full professor of Nanjing University and IEEE senior member. He received Bachelor degree from South China University of technology; Obtained Ph.D. degree from the University of science and technology of China; From 2011 to 2012 and May-August 2017, he was visiting scholar to Stanford University; he was selected for National Outstanding Youth Scientist Fund in 2018. More than 160 articles were published in  peer reviewed journals including Nature Common., PNAS, Adv. Mater., Nano lett., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., Energy & Environment. Sci.,, Acc. Chem. Res., and  IEEE Electron Dev. Lett. Pan's articles were cited more than 12000 times, with H-factor 49, and 14 ESI high cited papers.






Assco. Prof. CHING YERN CHEE, University of Malaya, Malaysia

Selected as one of UM Researchers Among The World's Top 2% Scientists 2022 and 2023 by Elservier

Ir. Dr. Ching Yern Chee is an Assoc. professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Malaya. She graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, UTM. She is a Chartered Engineer registered by the Engineering Council (UK). Her research focus is Environmental Friendly Products and Technologies; and she has secured more than RM 5 million research grants. Her significant achievement is the development of a novel composite lacquer with high FIR effectiveness and UV blocking properties for agricultural greenhouse film. Ching has filed numerous patents for her inventions and received many accolades as a distinguished scholar. Ching has won >20 awards at international/national exhibitions pertaining to her research and inventions. Ching was the recipient of “Leaders in Innovation Fellowship 2017” by the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK for her notable contribution in the field of engineering education and advancement in composite field. Ching is the recipient of “Top Research Scientists Malaysia 2020” (TRSM) from Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM). Dr. Ching was selected as one of UM Researchers Among The World's Top 2% Scientists 2022 and 2023 by Elservier. She is also a recipient of the “Hitachi Fellowship 2019” with a tenure at the The University of Kitakyushu, Japan as a visiting scholar. The international awards bestowed on Dr. Ching have opened new doors for her research through collaborations and consultation.

Prof. Tingchao He

Shenzhen University, China

Prof. Tingchao is a full professor at the School of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, Shenzhen University. He received his Ph. D. degree from the Department of Physics of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He once visited the Institute of Molecular Science of National Research Institute in Japan and did postdoctoral research in Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. His current research focuses on ultrafast optical and chiral optical behaviors of new semiconductor materials. As the first author or corresponding author, He has published nearly 100 papers in academic journals, such as inScience Adv.,Nature Commun.,Adv. Mater.,Nano Lett.,ACS Nano,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. He is a Topic Editor for the Journals Frontiers in Chemistry and Photonics.
